Two words come to mind; connection and awaken.
Connection reflects my deep commitment to being present and aligned with what matters most; to live connected to my values and intuition. Awaken symbolizes something I felt early last year; a nudge that inspired a process that unfolded throughout the year. An awakening of sorts – which led me down a path of discovery, contemplation, and an unfamiliar willingness to step into the unknown.

Like many women, I have felt the weight of expectations, the burden of self-doubt, and the increasing difficulty in managing and balancing all the things all the time. I’ve experienced the tension between who I thought I was supposed to be and who I truly am.
Life has been my greatest teacher, offering lessons that clinical knowledge alone could never provide. I am grateful for these lessons because my own challenges and triumphs have helped form me into the sincerely compassionate, wholeheartedly genuine, and boldly authentic therapist I am today. Through those experiences, along with learning the ACT model of therapy (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, stated ‘act’ like the movement), I developed a rhythm of living that felt centered and balanced.
I came to realize that it’s not about trying to “fix” ourselves or my clients – we are already whole. The answer lies in returning to center, reconnecting with who we are at our core, and learning to live authentically from that space.
As I personally embraced this understanding, I began to notice a profound connection with the women I was working with professionally. I saw how transformative this approach could be for them and recognized how uniquely equipped I was to guide them. Leaning into this awakening within myself helped to bridge the gap between Living in Alignment being an idea and becoming something real.
This work is about helping women move through challenges, stages, and transitions in life with intention and action that is aligned with their core values. We work together on shedding any guilt or shame that may be holding them back, they begin to give themselves permission to own their strengths, identify self-limiting beliefs, and connect with what truly matters.
My role is to guide women towards things like:
The name “Living in Alignment” captures the heart of this process: aligning our choices, actions, and energy with our truest selves. The ACT approach mirrors the very essence of alignment, because with ACT we learn to live intentionally, anchored in what matters most. It’s about embracing the full range of human emotions, practicing mindfulness, and taking meaningful steps forward with bravery and conviction towards your values. I like to say that it helps you develop an awareness of your own “inner compass”, which is then guided by psychological flexibility (your ability for mindful, values-guided action).
My mission is to help women awaken to their full potential and create meaningful change. I believe in the power of small, intentional shifts that are pivots towards the life they want to create for themselves.
I’ve witnessed the profound transformation that happens when women feel seen, understood, and supported. When they are given a chance to be validated, to realign, and to learn. It’s not just about healing, it’s about discovering the freedom to live fully. I created this space for women to explore (and rewrite) their stories, find clarity, and embrace the vitality that comes with true alignment.
My approach is less focused on labels or diagnosis and more centered on personalized, evidence-based care that treats the whole person. Regardless of the presenting concern, the possibilities for growth are endless.
This is more than a business for me. My hope is that more women can experience therapy in a way that is approachable and relatable. That they become willing to give themselves the gift of time and energy towards their own mental wellness.
It is such a profound privilege for me to witness women experience their own awakening – elevating their lives and impacting those they love and care about. I call it the “trickle down effect” – when a woman celebrates her uniqueness, feels empowered to be herself, and focuses on what matters most in her life – it naturally trickles down into the lives of so many others.
Women are at the heart of so many things, including the foundation of Living in Alignment.

Two books on my Resource Page played a huge role in this process. “The Radical Awakening” and “The Pivot Year” – head on over to check them out!
Here is one that is special to me from “The Pivot Year” –
“If it does not lead to more peace in your life, it is not in alignment. If it does not lead to a deeper place within yourself, it is not in alignment. If it requires you to sacrifice your values and gives you an unsettled feeling in your stomach, it is not in alignment. If it requires you to be dishonest with anyone, even yourself, for a prolonged and complex period of time, it is not in alignment. If it does not give you space to grow and change, it is not in alignment. If it does not make you a better human being, it is not in alignment.” ~ Brianna Wiest, “The Pivot Year”, Day 269.
Know that I often hear from clients things like "you're so relatable, this is different than I thought it would be, I can be myself here, "... Maybe it's time to give it a try.
